The first heats of Round 3 of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy at Franciacorta are just finished.
Friend and Babicek on Top
In the first heat of the day, Albert Friend (Strawberry Racing) wins ahead of Nikita Ljubimov (Bouvin Power) and Sam Pollit’s Riley Murro, who recovered 5 positions. Zdenek Babicek (TEPZ Racing) took victory in the second heat with an impressive recovery of 6 positions.
New Winners Emerge
After narrowly missing the group pole position, Arjen Kraeling (Kart Republic) wins ahead of poleman Boaz Maximov (Bouvin Power). Casper Nissen (RS Competition) wins the other heat, ahead of Polish driver Alex Rogowski (KRK Racing) and Noah Janssen (Doerr Motorsport), who recovered 9 positions.
Pure Show on Track!
Thomas Bearman (KR Sport) doubles up, Caden McQueen (KR Sport), while Macauley Bishop (Dan Holland Racing), Elia Pappacena (MKC Motorsport), and Sean Butcher (KR Sport) each win a heat.
Shchurko Completes a Perfect Friday, Picot Struggles
Maxim Shchurko (Lenktyniu Linija) wins in DD2 ahead of Belgian Maxim Dirickx (Schepers Motorsport) and Latvian Tomass Birstins (MRG Racing). In Masters, Nicolas Picot (Privateer) loses ground and finishes 4th; the winner is Martynas Tankevicius (Lenktyniu Linija).
What a Battle on Track!
The British duo of Spencer Brougham (Privateer) and Will Elswood (Privateer) secure a one-two finish. Poleman Raul Vargas (SLK Racing Academy) finishes 4th.
